2. Quotations and estimates

3. Contract and programme
A contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing. Programme dates are given in good faith and may be affected by weather, statutory approvals, third-party utilities and client-instructed changes. We will keep you informed of any change to the programme.
4. Payment
Unless a stage-payment schedule is agreed in writing, invoices are payable within 14 days of issue. We may charge interest on overdue sums under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Title in materials passes on full payment.
5. Site access and client responsibilities
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the site, together with water and power where available, and to obtain any planning permission, building regulations approval or party-wall agreement required unless we have agreed in writing to act on your behalf.
6. Workmanship and warranty
All work is carried out in a good and workmanlike manner and in accordance with the relevant British Standards and Building Regulations. Our workmanship is warranted for 12 months from practical completion. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied products and are passed to you where transferable.
7. Insurance and liability
We hold public liability and employer’s liability insurance. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the contract value and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Cancellation
Where you are a consumer contracting away from our business premises you have 14 days to cancel. If you ask us to begin work within that period you remain liable for work performed and materials ordered up to the date of cancellation.
9. Complaints and governing law
Please raise any concern with us in writing so we can put it right promptly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
